I am Ghada Al-Mousawi, a Qatari licensed dietitian, sports nutritionist, and researcher with over eight years of experience in nutrition, sports nutrition, and public health. I am licensed by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) as a dietitian and registered as an Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) with the Association for Nutrition (AfN), UK.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Leeds Beckett University (UK), a Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Nutrition from Middlesex University (UK), and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Birmingham.
My current research focuses on the use of cannabidiol (CBD) in sport, particularly its potential effects on sleep, recovery, and athletic performance. I also have a particular interest in endurance sports, evidence-based sports nutrition, safe and evidence-based supplement use, and helping athletes make informed decisions that support both performance and safe sporting practice.
Throughout my career, I have gained experience across clinical practice, sports nutrition, research, and education. I have had the privilege of delivering lectures, workshops, and educational programmes for universities, sports organisations, schools, healthcare professionals, and members of the community. I have also provided sports nutrition support to athletes and collaborated with organisations including the Qatar Tennis Federation and the Qatar Anti-Doping Commission.
Education and knowledge sharing have always been a passion of mine.
I have been fortunate to contribute through media appearances, lectures, workshops, and educational initiatives, driven by a commitment to making nutrition science practical, accessible, and free from misinformation. Whether I am speaking to elite athletes, students, healthcare professionals, or members of the public, my goal is to empower people to make informed, evidence-based nutrition decisions.
As I continue my PhD journey, I hope to contribute to the growing body of research in sports nutrition while translating scientific evidence into practical and trustworthy information. Through this website, I aim to bridge the gap between science and practice by sharing evidence-based nutrition knowledge that helps athletes and the wider community make informed decisions to support their health, performance, and long-term wellbeing.
My goal is simple: to make evidence-based sports nutrition practical, accessible, and trustworthy for everyone.

I’m here to help you on your journey to better health!
